Cape Marathon Sailing Race

This Event is for Sailors who wish to Experience a Marathon style format along the exquisite Geographe Bay coastline Between Geographe Bay Yacht Club and Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club.

Regatta Format

2 day Regatta – 1 day for Marathon Race & 1 Day for Short Course Racing (Morning and Afternoon)

Race Committee shall communicate to all nominated sailors by 6pm Friday 11th Nov, which day has been chosen for the Marathon Race.

Nomination Cost:

1 person Boat - $30

2 person Boat - $60

3 person boat - $70

Camping:

Fri 11^th November - $20

Sat 12^th November - $20

Sun 13^th November - $20

Camping Information: Strictly Tents only. Camp sites will be marked on ground. First in best dressed. Vehicles not permitted in camping area. No BYO Alcohol – Please support GBYC by purchasing your beverages at the bar.

Notes for Competitors

1. Competitors, friends and family who are camping on Friday 11^th November, are welcome to join GBYC Social Night for dinner – Kitchen and Bar will be Open
2. Sailors will be required to organise their own food for duration Marathon Race between 10am and 3pm
3. Nominations include lunch on Short Course Racing Day – Email dietary requirements to gbycbsn@westnet.com.au
