Welcome to Geographe Bay Race Week
On Behalf of Geographe Bay Yacht Club, we warmly welcome all sailors, officials, volunteers, support staff and guests to Geographe Bay Race Week 2025.
2024 was a huge success where we saw favourable condtions and a good time had by all!
Growing from 43 vessels in 2023 to 74 in 2024, who knows what we can achieve in the years to come...⛵️
There will be the usual variety of division racing, The inclusion of the Super 30 fleet was impressive in 2024, so much so that we extend our invite to a potential Super 20 fleet, So anyone with a Melges 24, Farr 25, Platu 25, J70, Elliot 7 etc... change your trailer wheel bearings and we'll see you in February.
The 3 day Mini Regatta was a treat for the Viper Fleet, sharing their race course with the Flying 15's all competiting for the prestigous GBRW Cup! 🏆 Sailing Windward/Leeward courses closer to Busselton Jetty this year to enhanse the spectacle of close haul racing for families and visitors. We welcome all classes to get in touch to see how you can get involved in Race Week 2025.
We'd like to thank the continued support of all of current sponsors who'm im proud to announce have all agreed to be involved again.👏
GBRW is always a highlight in the WA sailing calendar, giving the opportunity for friends to catch up and sail the wonderful waters of Geographe Bay.☀️🏖️
A delivery fleet will leave RPYC annex/FSC with an over night stop in Mandurah, then onto Port Geographe Marina on the Friday. All boats will be shadowed by RPYC Start Boat "Challenger". This is a safe option for new comers or boats wanting to travel in a fleet. More details to follow.
Notice of Race is very close to release, so book your time off between the 15th - 21st February and we look forward to seeing you, your crew and family back in Busselton for what’s sure to be a wonderful event.
