Tackers 1 – Having Fun
Designed for 7–12 year olds, Tackers 1 is a fun and games-based introduction to sailing.
No previous sailing experience is required and participants don't need to be a GBYC member. The focus is on having fun, getting comfortable around boats and water, and learning the basics of sailing through games and activities both on and off the water.
The six-week course runs on Saturday mornings from 8.30am to noon and is delivered by experienced instructors, with equipment provided.
Tackers 1 is perfect for children who are water confident and ready to have fun while discovering sailing.
